The Range and Mission Management Office, Suborbital and Special Orbital Projects Directorate, at Goddard Space Flight Center is seeking an Administrative Manager (Associate Chief) to supervise and manage activities supporting the maintenance, sustainment, and upgrading of range systems and instrumentation. The incumbent will be responsible for policies, procedures, resources, procurement, and funding required to ensure range system and instrumentation readiness to support our exciting mission.



You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above. To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level providing managerial oversight and establishing policies for maintenance, sustainment, or upgrades of instrumentation and systems; managing personnel in the strategic planning, designing, and execution of projects and programs; and complying, submitting, and defending budget estimates for short-term and long-term planning for projects and programs.
