Position Summary

The Adobe Support Specialist primarily serves as a tier 1 resource directly working with end-users to address their needs for help with gaining access to, installing, and using Adobe software provided under VCU’s Enterprise Term License Agreement. This position is responsible for handling incoming incidents and service requests from end-users, guiding end-users through VCU-specific processes, troubleshooting software installation and sign-in issues with end-users, and developing resources for end-users to self-troubleshoot the most common types of issues themselves such as how-to articles with screenshots, video guides, and other resources. This position is designed for a VCU student with intermediate IT skillset who also has intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Spark Pages, Portfolio, and others. This position is part-time and will be limited to 1480 hours per year.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of IT work experience

  • 1 to 2 years of Adobe software experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Several years of advanced IT troubleshooting experience, especially with Adobe software installation.

  • Advanced experience and skills using Adobe software.

  • CompTIA A+ Certification is preferred and required within 1 year of hire date.

Salary Range: $18/hr to $20/hr
