Job Title: Area Specialist
Department: Perforation
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Basic blueprint knowledge required
- Must be able to work with tape measures and digital calipers to add and subtract decimals and fractions
- Organizational and time-management skills required
- Relationship, team building, and conflict resolution skills preferred
- 5S/6S or Lean comprehension preferred
- Forklift experience and team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Job Duties:
- Keeping employees organized and working safely
- Validating employees work (1st Pieces Validation)
- Providing safety checks and scrap escalation
- Onboarding and Training of new team members
- Assisting in keeping training records accurate
- Manage and assist with die and machine changeover as required
- Assist managing Rule and Paper Kanbans
- Proactively keep rule inventory cut for all parts
- ·Capability of reading Job Travelers and EDI perforation prints and being able to disseminate this information to others
- Assist managing Scheduling Board, Cycle Count, and Job closures
- Set up and run manufacturing equipment as required
- Exuding professional behavior and setting the example
- Inspiring and motivating teams for goal attainment
- Available to work overtime as needed
- Assisting in setting a high-quality standard for EDI including writing up nonconforming material
- Coordinate activities in the absence of the Team Lead
- Be available to work overtime as needed
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm. Overtime is occasional for Friday and/or Saturday based on business need.
Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour
