The Williamson County Housing Authority was established in 1947 as a governmental municipality to provide affordable housing options for our community members. Position Summary and Qualifications:

This position is responsible for developing an overall plan and timetable for the implementation of modernization programs, primarily physical remodels, and new builds. To accomplish this, physical needs assessments, annual/5-year budgets and performance/evaluation reports must be completed. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are required as the coordinator works with residents, architectural/engineering services, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all standards and target dates are met.

Strong computer skills with the ability to manage databases are necessary to prepare contracts, submit regular reports and request funding directly from U.S. Housing and Urban Development. When performing required responsibilities, the candidate will work independently and as a team member. A valid Illinois Driver License is also necessary to perform duties. Successful candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in construction contract management. Experience in cost estimation and construction of residential subdivisions and/or apartment complexes would be desirable.
