Resolute Forest Products, Menominee Operations is seeking a Crew Leader Day Shift floater. This position will report to the Materials Manager and will be a Monday-Friday, eight hour position with possible overtime opportunities.

This position will ensure and maintain the quality of inbound acceptance and shipment of outbound finish product, ensure the proper feeding of recipes to the mill, in a way that production and quality goals are met. Will work with Crew Leaders to identify inefficiencies and apply solutions, train new hires on areas of warehouses, grading of paper and conduct weekly performance reviews with new hires and have general warehouse duties to include loading and unloading of trucks/railcars.

The Crew Leader Day Shift will serve as primary back up for Traffic Clerk, Crew Leader vacancies and the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator. This position may work at other K&K locations to watch incoming paper deliveries and pick up of loads on a temporary basis. The Crew Leader must be able to work with all levels of employees in order to identify inefficiencies and create solutions across multiple departments.

Successful candidates will interact with other operators and departments regarding daily activities, but will report to the Materials Manager with dotted line to Shipping/Receiving Coordinator.

Applicants are required to have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication skills, proficiency in trouble shooting and problem solving, being self-directed with strong organizational skills will be critical to this position. The ability to drive projects to completion with solid demonstrated leaderships skills are priorities for this position. Candidates must be proficient in Outlook, including email, word and excel. Previous warehouse experience, or shipping and receiving experience is preferred as well as a complete understanding of material flow and the process effects on all grades.
