University of Pennsylvania Career Services, positioned within the division of University Life, offers a wonderful opportunity to be at the nexus of Penn students, alumni, employers, and campus partners, and provides an engaging environment to apply your skills in effective communication, relationship building, and program/event management. The Employer Relations Coordinator is an integral member of the Employer Relations team and serves as the main point of contact for students and employers in the interview suite during the recruiting season. The Coordinator supports the Employer Relations Manager in scheduling employer information sessions and on-campus interviews utilizing Penn’s recruiting software platform, Handshake, plays an integral part in organizing career fairs, and manages the employer approval process in Handshake. The person hired must be able to work a variable work schedule depending on time of year (11:00 am – 7:00 pm during recruiting season and 9:00 – 5:00 when no recruiting is occurring).
