Job Description and Requirements
The Enterprise Fraud Account Specialist provides quality assistance to members by phone, email and secure message. Process a variety of specialized transactions and inquiries in accordance with policies, and procedures to include reviewing account transactions with suspected fraudulent transactions, answer general questions regarding Fraud coded accounts. Conducts all duties in a manner intended to enhance the image and growth of the Credit Union.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Process and/or research standard and specialized inquiries and transactions as directed by properly identified members utilizing basic fraud detection techniques
  • Provide enthusiastic, professional, quality telephone service to members and non-members
  • Review account transactions, prepare refund documentation, review online access history, review network IP information and escalate as necessary
  • Recommend products and services to members to enhance their quality of life
  • Maintain basic working knowledge of RBFCU member handbook, policy and procedures and topical knowledge for all credit union areas
  • Comply with applicable regulatory laws pertaining to the credit union and internal policies and procedures
  • Include appropriate people in decision making, escalating issues as appropriate
  • Dedication to developing strong relationships with co-workers, management and other departments
  • Utilize applicable applications efficiently to assist members
  • Conduct all duties in a manner intended to enhance the image of the Credit Union
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Less than one year of job related work experience
  • Must be able to work a flexible Monday – Saturday schedule
Skills and/or Certifications/Licensing:
  • Type and 10-key by touch. Proficient in utilizing PC, software, and other office equipment
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good attendance and promptness is pertinent
