This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and effectively answer questions for students and instructors in a timely manner
  • Will be responsible for providing aviation students with a high level of customer service
  • Assist supervisor with some report generating and preparation
  • Assist with the preparation of flight training materials
  • Assist full-time staff as requested to ensure prompt services to the students
  • Schedule, dispatch and process flights
  • Ensure that all flight training documents are filed
  • File flight training documents
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements & Competencies

  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Possible qualification for Work Study
  • Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail

Work Location

  • University of North Dakota – Airport – Dispatch, Grand Forks, ND

Hours & Schedule

  • Must be available between the hours of 0800-1630
  • Starting compensation: $12.00 / hour; part-time; non-exempt; non-benefitted
  • Hours per week: 10 – 20
  • Variable shifts with evening and weekend work
  • 3-4 hours per shift
  • Minimum of 3 hours per shift
