Position: Human Resources – HR Manager
Location: Corporate Office located Franklin, TN
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

  • Partner with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations
  • Oversee employee retention and engagement through evaluation and analysis, and recommendations for improvement, counseling, mentoring and corrective action
  • Responsible for HR personnel files and documentation system
  • Coordinate the evaluation and performance management process
  • Benefits implementation, administration, maintenance, monitoring, and updates.
  • Oversee HR department regarding personnel, practices and policies
  • Maintains HR budget
  • Oversees onboarding maintenance, monitoring, and updates. (Panel interviewing, onboarding, new hire paperwork, employee referrals)
  • Oversees licensing maintenance, monitoring, and updates
  • Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints and harassment allegations
  • Review and represent ACH on all employee terminations in conjunction with Legal Department
  • Work with legal department regarding providing employee information in response to lawsuits
  • Lead representative on workplace investigations
  • Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees; and following up for documentation
  • Review employee conferences
  • Through HR department supervision, oversee Recognition maintenance, OSHA/Training & Safety maintenance, Unemployment and Employment verifications maintenance, Medical (Hep B vaccinations, employee drug testing, LOA, Workers Comp, etc.) maintenance, ADP Workforce Now maintenance, Survey maintenance, (employee survey, client survey, annual evaluations, 360 evaluations, exit interviews, stay interviews, 30 day evaluations, 90 day evaluations), Licensing maintenance, Benefit maintenance, Onboarding maintenance and recruiting
  • Any and all other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in field applying for or the equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP or equivalent)
  • Strong Microsoft Office, Internet, and email skills
  • Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues
  • The ability to research and analyze various types of data information
  • Must have the ability to make recommendation to effective resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to envision and deliver innovative solutions
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training
  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle
