Overview

Cumberland County’s District Attorney’s Office seeks a talented individual to join our administrative support team.

Our office of just over 50 people handles an average of 10,000 criminal cases each year. We are busy. A long-time employee’s retirement necessitates the “passing of the torch” of this role; the chosen candidate would share people and organization management responsibilities with a veteran employee in the office.

Candidates chosen to interview for the position will have the following qualifications:

  • At least three years’ experience working at a management level in a legal and/or business office or an equivalent combination of experience and education in a related field;
  • Supervisory experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in an effective, professional, and friendly manner;
  • A valid, state of Maine driver’s license.

If you meet the above requirements and are looking to take your skills and experience to the next level with a top-notch employer, we look forward to seeing your application!

Cumberland County offers an excellent and comprehensive benefits package and is proud of its talented and dedicated workforce. Come join our team and culture of engaged employees. Our strong management team is dedicated to providing employees with inspiring leadership, a positive and friendly workplace, support, encouragement and the necessary tools for success. We offer tuition reimbursement, wellness program, and professional development and training opportunities.

This position is 40 hours per week with a full benefits package. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Cumberland County is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected Veteran status.
