SplashDown Beach and Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, award winning hospitality properties in the Hudson Valley, are seeking a talented and experienced Project and Maintenance Manager. We are looking for a strong team leader that is organized, personable and meticulous. In our fast-paced environment, we need a self-starter with a positive attitude who has the ability to take the initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Complete understanding of the project management process, including but not limited to design, specifications, procurement, schedule, implementation, owner/client interface, and contracts
  • Build, manage, and execute on project schedules; revise scope, schedule, and/or budget to ensure requirements are met when necessary
  • Coordinate internal and external resources and third party vendors to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Proactively identify problem areas and present solutions as issues arise throughout the property; assess and monitor risk and escalate issues as necessary
  • Plan, budget, monitor and report on projects through the use of various project management methodologies

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction management experience; professional certification such as PMP a plus
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of all phases of building mechanics including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and boiler systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, managerial and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of purchasing, cost control, and budgeting is required
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, overnights, holidays, and on-call shifts if/when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
