You will be responsible for executing the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s strategy to attract world class, diverse talent and drive organizational improvement by identifying, hiring, and retaining a highly skilled workforce. Serve as a consultative partner to business lines by designing the appropriate direct sourcing strategy, resulting in successful fulfillment of requisitions. You will report to the Director of Human Resources.

Work location: This is a hybrid role if local requiring some work in the Atlanta office or a Federal Reserve location each week.

  • You may be considered for a Senior position based on your years of relevant experience.

  • Own all aspects of the recruiting and selection process for assigned business lines, including but not limited to, advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, facilitating post-debriefs of candidate selection, creating compensation quotes and extending and negotiating offers.
  • Consult with business lines on passive talent sourcing strategies, expectations, timelines, deliverables, and other components of the recruiting/hiring process. Counsel business lines on all recruiting issues including the appropriateness of proposed offers including salary, sign-on bonuses, and relocation packages. Recommend candidates to business line management based upon analysis of the department’s needs and the candidate’s skills.
  • Establish a credible, influential relationship with hiring managers, leveraging SLA’s to set and manage expectations around goals, strategies, processes, roles, timelines and consequences.
  • Utilize various technologies to attract and source talent, ensure accurate applicant tracking and data management, and manage critical metrics.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by representing the Bank at external diversity networking events, campus job fairs, social media presence and other sourcing events as necessary.
  • Navigate and manage complex ATS and HCM systems/applications and numerous information pieces with impeccable data integrity.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences about career coaching, job search techniques, resume writing and interview and selection training.
  • Serve as a driving force in supporting the Bank’s culture of diversity & inclusion through external relationship building, national diversity events, etc.


  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years equivalent experience; Master’s Degree in business, human resources or a related field is preferred/
  • Experience: Two or more years. * 5 or more years for the senior role. Workday experience required.

Knowledge Areas:

  • Talent Acquisition/Human Resources
  • Advanced understanding of and experience with internet research techniques
  • Ability to act as a trusted client advisor on all matters of talent

Technical Skills:

  • Applicant Tracking Systems and Human Capital Management Software such as Workday, Oracle or SAP.


  • Formal training on internet search techniques (ideally AIRS certified)
