The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa invites applications for a full time Research Assistant position.
The position involves assisting with data collection and analysis regarding effects of fear on encoding and stability of spatial representations in the dorsal and ventral hippo-campus. Must be familiar with research that focuses on the strategies, representations, and circuits underlying spatial reorientation -the ability to regain one’s bearings after becoming lost.
Education and Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years working as a Research Assistant in a highly engaged lab setting.
- Experience working with neuralynx.
- Ability to work flexible hours Monday – Sunday as lab needs dictate.
