This position is at the Learning Research and Development Center (LRDC), a multi-disciplinary center for research to advance the science of learning by bringing together leading researchers in the cognitive, social, and educational sciences.
LRDC is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Research Associate (part-time). The Research Associate will join Dr. Timothy Nokes-Malach (Psychology, LRDC) on an NSF Funded Project that explores why and how digital learning games lead to gender differences and which cognitive and affective processes explain the differences. The associate will be involved in all aspects of the project and will lead efforts to publish results of the research. The position starts immediately and continues for two years. We are looking for candidates with a Ph.D. in psychology with extensive experience investigating STEM learning, motivation, and engagement. Advanced training and experience in experimental design and statistics (e.g., ANOVA, regression) is preferred.
