Trilogy Federal is looking for a motivated and independent Senior Healthcare Policy Analyst with knowledge and experience in healthcare policy and legislation, analysis, and project management to support a large Federal agency. The person in this position will have a critical role on a high-performing team in developing an analysis of current policy and legislation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis of specific issues and identification of alternatives.
  • Create and present executive-level briefings on status, risks, issues, and strategies.
  • Develop and deliver compelling and polished presentations to government personnel and large teams.
  • Evaluate real-world impacts of changes to policies including collaboration with government subject matter experts to document impacts.
  • Develop and maintain project management artifacts for senior government officials and large teams to include, but not limited to: Process Flows, Meeting Minutes, Action Item Logs, and Risk Registers.
  • Capture spoken information in real-time in documents and spreadsheets (e.g., live edits to documents, capture of questions and answers during presentations, etc.).
  • Analysis and evaluation of various existing policies.
  • Performing program analysis.
  • Facilitating client-based meetings
  • Supporting data analysis efforts
  • Performing peer reviews of client deliverables/work products.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Prior experience working in a healthcare organization (e.g., hospital, health system, health insurance company, etc.)
  • Prior experience working with healthcare policies and related topics such as eligibility, enrollment, medical necessity, and/or utilization management
  • Detailed understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Project) and their features/functions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Experience with creating executive-level documentation and reports
  • Ability and drive to learn from challenges and take on progressive responsibility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certified
  • Experience with healthcare policy (or related field)
  • VA or VHA experience

  • The target salary range for this role is $85,000 – $95,000. This range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as Trilogy Federal conducts an individual equity review for every candidate based on experience, location, education, industry experience, and comparisons to internal pay bands.
